Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk Day

The peer mentoring group raised awareness of ‘Time to Talk day’ #time2talk on Thursday the 2nd of February by giving an assembly to years 7 to 10 pupils with the help of Leigh Horner from the Merseyside Youth Association.  They discussed what mental health was, who has it and how talking can play a big part in helping each other. The assembly was also used to launch the Peer mentors ‘Chill club’. This is a lunchtime club held on Thursdays in the community room. It is a place where pupils can come along, play board games, talk and relax.
