Congratulations to our four King David High School Biology students who took part in the Biology Olympiad at Edge Hill University on June 21st.  Abigail Cheung-English, Jacob Glennon, John Salter and Abi Sharples came a brilliant first out of the 19 participating teams from schools and colleges from the North West. This prestigious event challenges the best biology students from around the area with a test of knowledge and understanding of a variety of practical and theoretical biological topics.

"We are extremely proud of the team. Dr Lorena Fernandez-Martinez who presented the prizes praised the KDHS team for their excellent team-work. It was great to see our students out-performing so many other teams from well-known private schools and sixth form colleges. Biology is alive and buzzing at King David High” said Mr Sharp, Biology teacher at King David.
